November 2017 – Valencia

As I carefree wandered around the Valencian streets full of arts, my mind was suddenly full of thoughts. In life, they always say to never look back, that you should never spend time reminiscing about the past. Oh you’ve never heard? It’s quoted on every corny Instagram account But why is that? Haven’t we all made mistakes we regret today? Money wrongly spent, bad relationships, horrible clothes. Sure, to think of them may bring back some annoying feelings but that pain is way behind you, South Africa behind you. As serious as they may have been, these erratum built you and helped you not to make the same mistake twice (or not, like me, then you’re helpless). Instead of pointing at the 🅕🅐🅤🅧 🅟🅐🅢 of your 🅟🅐🅢Ⓣ, think about how far you’ve come. Looking behind you should never be disturbing nor sad, but be seen as a movie you don’t know the end of (kinda like this long street) and in which you play the first role . But don’t watch it too much if you don’t want to miss the step and fall down.

So in the end, feel free to look behind, but never when you fart
