Do you recall your first time voting?
Mine was last year for French presidential elections. I remember watching the final results with my best friend at home. It was a very stressful moment, soothed by the burrata I bought (and devoured). Did Marine’s threatening hair color make me eat my emotions? Can’t answer that as I’m always hungry, but her eastern-European blonde look was kinda disturbing
Anyway, I may not be a model but I definetely try to be a citizen-model. Voting, among others of our civil rights, should not be taken for granted. In fact, I believe it can be taken away at any moment, just like you can lose your driving license. But don’t mix things up, driving is a privilege in modern societies, just like voting in some countries
… As our ancestors fought for them, it is our final duty to honor them in taking these rights seriously. But as much of a perfect citizen I would wanna be, it’s not always that easy. See, I kinda follow our politics like I follow French soccer team: I only watch the big games, not the weekly Wednesday night shit (surprised by my manliness right)
And just like Russia throws the worlwide soccer cup this year, the ball is in the public camp right now. Yes dear, our Russian fellows are now experiencing the joy of voting for their next president (the suspense is at its peak), a delicate moment that always takes a dramatic dimension out there (let’s just say that Poutine doesn’t like to share his toys). I just hope vodka won’t get on their ways to the vote…
Russian, the ball is in your court now, throw it well and you’ll win this game youhouuu (cheerleader mode on) ![]()
So don’t forget to vote people! And since we are screwed no matter who is elected, please vote for the best looking one
. Dibald’ President! ![]()
